The Adviser Gap Podcast

Mar 11, 2019

In this episode, James and Sean discuss why they wanted to be financial advisers and their personal journey to finding their ‘why’.

This week, the hosts are joined by Amyr Rocha-Lima, Chartered Financial Planner and Partner at Holland Hahn & Wills, based in Kingston Upon Thames.

Amyr has over 10 years’ experience as a financial planner and is now widely considered one of the leading lights in the profession. Amyr’s story is perhaps a little different, having started his career in what he calls ‘provider land’ with Axa, before joining MetLife where he was tasked with promoting financial products to financial advisers.

Amyr discusses how his sales background and the relationships he had built with financial planners helped him to initially make the jump across to the adviser’s side of the fence. We also dive deep into our desire to help people understand the complex world of personal finance and how this drives us all to deliver an excellent customer experience for our clients.

We had a great time chatting with Amyr and found his stories and insights invaluable. We hope you enjoy our discussion as much as we did.
